Day before trip

Location: Salt Lake City

Activity: Fly into Salt Lake City Airport

Accommodation: Airport Hotel

Fly into Salt Lake City Airport and stay at airport hotel. Wind down and prepare for a packed week of hiking.

Day 1

Location: Salt Lake City to Canyonlands

Activity: Hike White Rim overlook (1.8 miles easy) and East and West Rim Loop (1.1 miles moderate)

Accommodation: Camp at Sun Outdoors Downtown Moab

Meet the tour guides at the SLC airport hotel at 8:00 AM to drive 5 hours to Canyonlands. Complete a 1.8 mile easy hike along the White Rim. Then drive over to Dead Horse State Park and do a 1.1 mile moderate hike on the West Rim. Head to camp to setup and make dinner.

Day 2

Location: Arches National Park

Activity: Hike Devils Garden (7.9 miles hard)

Accommodation: Camp at Sun Outdoors Downtown Moab

Wake up early and make breakfast at camp. Pack lunch and drive over to Arches National Park, arrive at the Devils Garden trailhead and hike 7.9 miles. Drive into Moab to explore the shops and grab food in town. Head back to camp for the night.

Day 3

Location: Arches to Capitol Reef

Activity: Hike Delicate Arch (3.2 miles moderate)

Accommodation: Capitol Reef Group Campsite

Wake up and hike Delicate Arch, 3.2 miles moderate, at sunrise. Head back to break camp and hit the road to Capitol Reef. Drive over to the campsite to set up camp and make dinner.

Day 4

Location: Capitol Reef to Bryce Canyon

Activity: Hike Cassidy Arch Trail (3.1 miles moderate)

Accommodation: Ruby’s Inn and RV Park

Wake up and make a group breakfast at camp, and pack your lunches for the hike. Head to the trailhead. Hike to Cassidy Arch, 3.1 miles moderate. Drive to Bryce Canyon and set up camp to make dinner and watch sunset.

Day 5

Location: Bryce Canyon

Activities: Fairyland Loop Trail (7.9 miles hard)

Accommodation: Ruby’s Inn and RV Park

Wake up, make breakfast at camp and pack lunches for the hike. Drive to Fairyland Loop Trailhead and do a 7.9 mile hard hike. After the hike, drive back to camp to watch sunset and make a group dinner.

Day 6

Location: Bryce Canyon to Zion

Activities: Hike Pa’rus Trail (3.3 miles easy)

Accommodation: Zion Canyon Campground and Resort

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over Bryce Canyon. Make breakfast at camp and pack lunch. Drive to Zion National Park. Set up camp before walking into the park. Stretch your legs with an easy hike on the Pa’rus Trail, 3.3 miles. Head back to camp to make dinner.

Day 7

Location: Zion

Activity: Ride e-bikes up the canyon and hike The Narrows

Accommodation: Zion Canyon Campground and Resort

Wake up and make breakfast at camp. Head over to gear rental for everyone to get an e-bike and narrows gear. Ride the bikes all the way up to the end of the canyon and get geared up. Hike as far as the group wants into the canyon. This hike will be very unique as it is actually hiking through a very narrow part of the canyon and is mostly hiking in the river. Ride the bikes back down and return gear before heading into town for dinner.

Day 8

Location: Zion to Salt Lake City

Activities: Hike Watchman Trail (3.2 miles moderate)

Accommodation: Airport hotel

Wake up for Sunrise over the canyon. Make breakfast at camp and pack up. Walk into the park and hike The Watchman Trail, 3.2 miles. Start the drive back to Salt Lake City and arrive at the airport hotel. Unwind and reminisce before you head home.

  • This trip will include a combination of meals cooked at camp and some meals dining out when passing through towns. We believe a main part of the experience is cooking meals together in nature, which is why many dinners and breakfasts will be spent at camp. We like to blend that with some meals in towns to give the opportunity to explore the more urban side of the places we will visit.

    We will also provide food to prepare your packed lunch for the trail, and a variety of snack options to bring with you for activities.

    We can also accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g. vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, kosher, etc.). Please make sure to specify any dietary restrictions at sign up so the guides can prepare in advance.

Policies and disclaimers

  • Juni wants nothing more than for you to escape on one of our adventures. However, we understand emergencies do occur that may cause you to cancel your reservation. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

    Refunds will be given as outlined below based on days prior to trip arrival.

    Within 48 hours of booking: Fully Refundable

    91 + Days from trip start date: Full refund less $200.

    90 Days or less from trip start date: No Refund.

    No exceptions will be granted to our Cancellation policy.

    We reserve the right to cancel trips with inadequate participant attendance, in which case all money paid to Juni LLC will be fully refunded. Juni LLC CANNOT be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations.

    Juni reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour participant should such person’s behavior, health or mental condition impede the operation of the trip.

    Juni reserves the option to modify trip itineraries at the discretion of your tour director as necessary due to weather, conditions, illness, injury, group dynamics, safety, or other unforeseen incidents.

    We strongly encourage you to purchase Traveler Protection Insurance. Travel Insurance is available from WorldNomads.com.

  • The traveler acknowledges that the nature of the trip may be adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. It is also your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all relevant travel information, including applicable health risks and the nature of your itinerary. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks attendant upon such travel. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability in relation to these additional risks.

  • It is your responsibility to obtain information and to have in your possession all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to the destination you visit on your trip. This may include a valid passport and all travel documents required by us and/or the relevant governmental authorities including all visas, permits and certificates (including but not limited to vaccination or medical certificates) and insurance policies. Your passport must be valid 6 months after the last date of travel with is as set out on your itinerary. You accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas and permits prior to the start of the trips, and you are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred as a result of missing or defective documentation. You agree that you are responsible for the full amount of any loss or expense incurred by us that is a direct result of your failure to secure or be in possession of proper travel documentation.

  • Our trip prices are subject to variable and seasonal pricing, both of which are standard practice within the travel industry. This means our trip prices may vary at any time in accordance with demand, market conditions and availability. It is likely that different passengers on the same trip have been charged different prices. Your best option if you like the price you see is to book at that time.
